You know what really disappoints me about society? It is that Jersey Shore is one of the most watched TV shows. I mean who wants to watch a bunch of orange skinned idiots talk and fight over
a bunch of ridiculous things?
I thought that people tried to avoid acting like stereotypes but in this show they try as hard as they can to be the Italian stereotype. There are tons of Italians in LA and nobody I know acts like that except the crazy people on this show! If you want to watch this stupid show that is fine. It's a free country. But I would prefer you read blogs or watch anything but Jersey Shore or The Kardashians.

I am originally from NJ. I moved to NC in March, so Jersey is in my blood.
You are 100% correct! We strive to be humans that break free from the shackles of stereotypes. Races and religions have spent decades gaining respect for what they are and these people just have blantant disregard for what their ancestors worked so hard for.
Just for a head's up: People from NJ are NOT like this. People everywhere care how they look and can be mean. The Jersey Shore just wraps these people into one package.
